I love using mixed media when creating projects. I like the hands on old fashioned acrylic painting because that is what originally got me excited about design and creativity from the start. Once i finish the painting I do a high quality scan, use photoshop to enhance colors and paint more details, and then use Illustrator to add the typography. The dimensions on a book cover need to be exact, and have room for bleed. I feel so satisfied when i get to hold in my hands the finished product of my design and see it all over Amazon, and book stores.
